I've had Dan make 2 covers, one for a Wenonah Moccasin, and another for my Advantage. Excellent item and Dan will work with the customer to get what they need.
Interesting is how it affected the performance between the 2 canoes. The Moccasin was 15.5 feet, slightly asymetric, 29 inches at the gunwale, straight sided, 0 rocker. The cover transformed how it handled wind and waves making this solo fairly easy to paddle in somewhat nasty conditions. On the Advantage a cover offered little benefit in simmilar conditions, I figure due to the amount of tumblehome in the hull. Either canoe benefited from adding the cover, the effect did vary due to hull design.

Shout out to Dan at CCS for designing an excellent cover for the Monarch. He is a pro, fits like a glove.

I was lucky enough to have a CCS cover included when I bought my Blackhawk. If anyone is on the fence about getting a custom cover made, you won't regret it.

Do I use mine often? No. Are they nice to have when it's wet and windy? Oh yeah.

Dan does beautiful work. Someday I may get a canoe cover from Dan.
