Agreed. And I also make it a habit to compliment when I'm pleased with a product or someone's customer service. Can't tell you how many times I've had supervisors/managers say "Thanks, we don't hear positive feedback on our employees very often. Just the negative."

Had the exact same issue and result. Was glad to get a new pad. My replacement might be having the same problem, though? Need to give it the bathtub test....this might turn into an annual winter activity? Not sure how I feel about that.

Just a quick shout out to Sea to Summit for their customer service. I had a self inflating STS pad that I loved right up to the point where the inner membrane failed. Pinhole leaks everywhere so not patchable. Emailed STS to see if there was a known issue with that pad or if perhaps I had been storing it wrong. Long story short, received a new identical pad free of charge. Good job STS!

Yes, STS makes great products and stands behind it.
Not cheap, actually, but it definitely worth its money.
As for me I've bought RikkiTikki sleeping pad on Amazon https://rikkitikki.biz/sleeping-pad/ last summer.
Not so expensive but works great, light and takes little space in the bag.
