I bought a bunch gor Scout troop years ago, plus 1 for myself, direct from the couple who make them for BWJ and Piragis. $32 ircc. Not sure how interested they are in single orders or direct any longer.

That pan looks custom made, formed and welded from thick sheet aluminum. Note the square welded corner. Not cast aluminum. If you know a metalworker it's an easy build.

I was able to contact the owners wife who works at the bank in Cook where I met her. She told me her husband had it made down in the cities from a casting shop. Apparently he didn’t like what was out there and had it created. I was able to buy one direct (hand to hand) as I didn’t need another handle, but wanted a 2nd pan. Got the feeling it was a private party that had them made and sells them at Piragris. Made from aluminum casting. She was proud of her husbands idea as I had to wait until she was done showing all her coworkers before I could get it. Nice older couple. They also make the skittle listed at Piragris too. Too bad the skittle can’t work as a lid for the deeper pan. I ended up forming a lid out of some flashing material that’s worked fine.

Same pan from the Boundary Waters Journal, for $49.00? I have this one. Works great. Prior to getting this as a gift, I never cooked over open fire. Adds another element to the BWCA experience for us.
