I’ve had my eye on these for a few years now and am thinking about buying. Just curious. Anyone have any experience? They seem like a great ski for banging around and breaking trail in the woods. There are a few skis likes this- like the hoks- that are basically sliding snowshoes- but these seem like they can really take some abuse- look almost bombproof.

That is a concern-but keep in mind that’s alsofor the Pair- it doesn’t seem outlandish to me. That’s why I’m wondering if anyone has experience with them. They have pretty good reviews when used for their intention- so it must not be that big of a deal since you’re sliding not lifting.

The skis I use now for tooling around in the woods now are heavy anyway. It’s definitely much heavier than regular cross country skis- but that comes with the territory- Any ultra wide durable, floatable ski is going to be relatively heavy. The hoks are ~6lbs as well.
