The technical term for this is building a "Frankenstove".

A while back, we had a discussion that mentioned making a simple pot support to allow normal/larger frying pans to be used on the MSR WindBurner stove. I was all set to scrounge up some scrap pieces when I found a Jetboil Pot Support.

The swing-out support legs seem to fit perfectly: the two models must have the same diameter burner ring. There are some small tabs (seen under the lock-unlock icons here) that must perform some function on Jetboil stoves to lock it in place. I'm thinking I'll just bend them in slightly to allow them to slip inside the ring more completely (they are oh, so close).

A YouTube video I saw talked about needing to do some cutting to increase the ring opening diameter. I'm thinking, otherwise the burner would quit ?? (Need to go back and find that video...) Also, the diameter across the support legs is only 4-3/4". Not sure how it might be modified in some way to increase that ??

Finally found a retailer with some isopro canisters for this year's trips, so will be burning some of the nearly-empty ones to test this out, and see if further mods are needed.
