Great idea, you must be a good cook with all those spices.

Trying a new method to spice up some of our meals. A pill storage system bought off of Amazon and filled with our favorite go-to spices. Labeled with tape.

I won't travel without a compliment of spices. I use the GSI Spice Rack.

I always carry spices. I use empty plastic film containers. I store them in a nylon case made for CDs. I throw away the cd holder thing and just line up the little cannisters in the case. Works pretty well. Backpacking I would just throw them in a Ziploc.

I have always had problems with moisture with any "camping" salt and pepper shakers. So I opt for nalgene travel bottles. I carry salt and pepper in the small, round bottles. I give up the "shaker" part with no holes to limit flow but...if you like pepper the way I do, you are taking the top off the shaker and using the 'steady-hand' technique already.

And I carry Tony Chachere's creole seasoning and a sugar/cinnamon mix in the larger rectangular bottles. I use Tony's to add some wang to my shore lunch and the sugar/cinnamon for fry bread.

I use the squirt bottles for syrup and oil. One bottle holds enough syrup for 2 pancake meals for 4 people...as long as no one is trying to float the pancakes. I use the oil as my clean oil...otherwise known as oil with no fish batter in it. And it holds enough oil to squirt in the skillet when it needs it.

I've found that adding a few grains of minute rice takes care of this problem.

I have encountered the same issue with moisture. I have tried about a half dozen different spice containers until I finally settled on a Nalgene bottles as well. Specifically, these 2 fluid ounce ones: 2 fluid ounce Nalgene bottles

Now I have about a dozen of these with various spices in 'em and pack which ever spice I want to suit the meals I am bringing. Since switching to these, I haven't had any issues with moisture. The salt hasn't once clumped up. Just gotta warn anyone using them that they are not a shaker.
