What are the parts, if I may ask? I suspect some things are stocked, and others are manufactured upon request. I ordered some new seats earlier this year and got them about a week later but the varnish drips on one end were still a little soft so I assumed they had been freshly made.
Protip - if you get their curved seats, get the trusses too. Their curved seats use a different bolt spacing than Ed's or Northwest Canoe uses.

I just heard from them today. They were backordered and will be shipped soon. The order was for seat drops and hardware.

Thanks, Mike. I've called and left messages, but no response. I'll try again next week.

I like to order from Essex because they are a sheltered workshop that employees the disabled to make quality items.

Thanks, that's the kind of stuff I had always heard. They haven't charged me or anything, but I'm hoping to get it soon so I can make the change and test before my trip next month.

Anyone order anything from Essex Industries? Ever have a problem?
I ordered some canoe parts on June 11, thinking I would have them by now. It's been hard to get any info on my order. I contacted them on July 1 and got a response they'd check on it. Since that time I have been unable to get a response. The website still just shows my order is "awaiting fulfillment".
