Howdy everyone. I'm trying to figure this boat out. I think it's either a cruiser or an outrage. I believe it's an'89 anyone known if they even made the outrage in 89? Specs are so similar its hard to distinguish
Between the two. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks!!!

It's definitely a Cruiser!

The Outrage was a rarity, because Sawyer didn't produce many of them and when they did it was only for a few years. The Outrage had a much flatter bottom than the Cruiser and fairly straight sides without the overall hull flare of the Cruiser. Sawyer didn't catalog or manufacture the Outrage beyond 1985.

The photo below is a fairly recent picture of my 1985 Expedition Kevlar Cruiser. The catalog pages of the Outrage and Cruiser are from a 1984 Sawyer catalog. The other page describing the Outrage is from an old 'Canoe Specialists' of Janesville, Wisconsin catalog they produced back in the early 80's.

The last photo is of a few friends on a 1985 Labor Day weekend Kickapoo River canoe trip. The canoe with my friend Paul sitting in the stern is a 'Goldenglass' Sawyer Outrage, for what it's worth.
