I have a Birdseye imagery file for the Southern half of Quetico but Garmin discontinued the service so there's no chance to buy the Northern half. Red Pine is mentioned many times in this forum but it's no longer around, either. Anyone know of another resource (other than the $120 Garmin download) to get lake imagery/maps for the Q?
Thx.

You may want to ask over in the GPS Forum.

Thanks, but I figured out how to pull satellite imagery off Google Earth, add in campsites and portages from another resource and load them all to my eTrex 20X for FREE! Cha ching!

If you're able to elaborate, I'd love to hear what you did so I can replicate it for when I eventually go to Quetico!

Sure thing. I took notes while I was doing it cuz I'm sure I will forget what I did next year when I visit a different area of the park! I'll try to post something later this week, albeit in the proper form area. I'll put a link to it here though
