timatkn: "Did you add a screw in mount to the fish finder? if so how? I have a Vexilar CLC-200. Just leave it on the floor but would be better if it was on the thwart. I don’t want to add much weight though. That is a great locator-wish they were still made! The HawkEye has a built in screw receptacle, I would post a pic, but a buddy is currently using it in the BW. It is a small, hand held unit. HawkEye Fishtrax |

The thought of drilling into the thwart and riveting the low profile tracks into place spooked me, but it was really easy; in less than 10 minutes the job was done, I did not destroy a thing and my neighbors did not need to listen to me loudly cursing! So, thanks so much Tim-and by extension dshult2 whose earlier post I also dug into. This board is the best!
