I got mine off Facebook Marketplace as well. Was previously used by a pharmaceutical company. The seller is still active and has them labeled as "15 Gallon Plastic Animal Feed Winter Dry Storage Barrel Container Fresh Food Grade."

Don't refer to "camping" or any similar keyword. These barrels are used for real food then eventually retired. My 60L barrel, which I've had for almost ten years, was formerly an olive barrel. It's actually square with rounded corners but the same lid and locking mechanism. It fits perfectly in my harness.

Craigslist has them from time to time. Make sure they are food grade.

Curious...what would be the problem if they are not food grade? It's not like you're putting unpackaged food in them. I'm just wondering what else they are used for that could cause them to be contaminated. And is there a an impregnated label on barrels to indicated for what they are/were used?

I did see them on their website, but didn’t like the price. I know I remember seeing them for $40 shipped on marketplace
