Thanks everyone. I placed an order from Rutabaga Paddlesports last night.
There is definitely a void in the marketplace since Midwest Mountaineering closed. Perhaps Rutabaga would consider a westward expansion?

Not an issue either way with the BugBaffler Shirt. I wear mine routinely on warm to hot days and the breathability is pretty good. Visibility is just fine:

I’ve worn the BugBaffler Shirt for 25 years, on SAR missions, hunting turkeys and clearing a trail last weekend near Hoyt Lakes. Half the price and available at Tractor Supply in Cambridge:

Really missing Midwest Mountaineering as I plan for an upcoming BWCA trip.
Anyone know of a retailer in the Minneapolis metro carrying the Original Bug Shirt?
I have always relied on DEET or a willingness to retreat to the tent/hammock but, my son is bringing along a girlfriend so thinking the insurance against bug bites may be worthwhile.
Thanks

The Original Bug Shirt is available on Amazon as well.
I bought two this past June for my wife and daughter at Piragis. Expect the price to be the same wherever you look. They do make a variety of colors now and also offer cotton and poly.
FYI, there is a knock off which looks nearly identical for about a third of the price of the OBS, but I don't like the idea of supporting a knock off company.
My wife and daughter both love their OBS and I am very pleased that I bought them.

Jaywalker: "The OBSC website only lists three retailers in MN; Piragis, Sawtooth Outfitters in Tofte, and Stone Harbor in GM. Who knows if it is accurate, but they did remove MWM. " I was pleasantly surprised to find them at Stone Harbor as I had been wanting to try one on before buying. They had a good selection of size and a couple colors, the tan and green.

Slim chance, but check to see if Repair Lair happens to have any. I'm surprised REI doesn't seem to carry them. If you are going through Ely you could call to see if Piragis has the correct size in stock.
