I have the 20” and the handle alone weights about 1#. I am sure the 16” will weights more than the aluminum Boundary Waters pan.

The weights are off in the add.
Amazon shows the 20 inch pan as 1 lb, but the 16 inch lb as 8 lbs, the same weight as the box and the pan. When it gets here I will find out how much it weighs.
How do you like the 20 inch? Is it too big to use on the fire grate? When the 16 inch gets here I will look it over and decide whether to keep it or send back for the 20 inch.

I like the 20” for car camping with a group. Also it is nice to be able to cook breakfast in one pan. If you are base camping with few or short portages it would be great, as long as you have a 20 year old to carry it.
Cabela’s bargain cave was less than a mile from my house. Found way too many goodies there!

Has anyone tried one of these? We were looking to use the 20 inch to cook directly over the fire. Yes I know it is wider then the fire grate. The idea is that it checks the box for a frying pan and a griddle, and the handle is removable. Camp Chef Lumberjack Skillet 20 inch

Seems like a 20" would work fine on on 18" fire grate.

Yeah, funny that 'item weight' is listed as 16 ounces while 'package weight' is listed as 5.53 kg. Must be a heavy box! And the package dimensions suggest that some assembly is required.

Let us know how it works in the field, and what it actually weighs (I do not believe 16oz is possible for any 16" pan).
We use a 16" carbon steel paella pan which is very light at under 3#; works well for 4-5 guys.
