I've got an old (late 90's) MSR Miniworks. The ceramic filter cracked this last trip and i'm looking for a replacement. The old style filter had two rubber seal rings, one at the top and one at the bottom. On the new filter and the available replacemnet cartridges, the top side (intake) is very different. Doesn't look like it would work/fit.

Has anyone dealt with this or tried it out - know where I can find the older style?

I've got a message into MSR as well, haven't heard back yet.

I loved my MSR Waterworks for more than a decade. Lack of an easily available filter replacement drove me to the Platypus 4L Gravity works. SO HAPPY! Turns out the Gravityworks is so much easier, filters faster, takes less room in my pack and is crazy simple (no moving parts).

I also have a handful of other water filters including PUR , Sawyer squeeze, and Sawyer life straw but I now use only the Platypus Gravity Works.
