Here's a quick review on them I saw a couple weeks ago:


Kradlco on Berm Peak


For a canoe, looking at how it operates, I think they'd be more hassle than a typical pully system. They probably wouldn't get it all the way to the ground and I don't know if you could get the canoe up higher than your reach. This works OK with bikes because a bike is always going to be within reach. The release rope would also need to be routed to the side to clear the width of the canoe. You're looking at nearly $300 for two of them.

I think these might work for a canoe. Probably 2 pere canoe, so some expensive, but interesting.
