egknuti	01/10/2025 07:46AM   I believe the Forest Service is looking to use these to replace campsites. Simply find a calm area of the lake, anchor, and sleep! Or for the more adventurous, simply float around the lake all night. They add a warning about getting up at night and using he latrine.

Rig up a fishing line with a floating lure, and a small electric motor with a propeller and the electronic steering of one of those robot vacuum cleaners. Sleep all night and troll the lake. Wake up with a fish on the line or a snapping turtle with a hook and a fish in it's mouth for breakfast! Tom

They explicitly say not to sleep in it while floating -- could you imagine if it sprung a leak while you were asleep and all zipped up inside? Eek!

It would be nice to never wake up half off your sleeping pad again. Though I can't imagine there's much thermal protection in their mattress so you'd probably have to have mats on top. Guess that would make it even cushier!

Their Kickstarter was funded and production is starting so act now and be the talk of the BW next year!
