I am not familiar with that brand, the one I looked at was 10 ft, I don't know if they make a longer one. At your height I would want an 11 foot Hammock at the minimum, but I am sure you could make it work and you MIGHT like it better than a tent, but if you don't,the only way to know for sure would be to try some of the more premium and longer brands as there is a big difference...but there is quite a cost! You need enough length and width to lie diagonally and get flat or you will be like a banana all night and may deal with a calf ridge. Most people consider 6ft to be the max height for a 10 ft hammock but that can vary by design and some do not mind laying on the curve. Don't forget bottom insulation, either a bottom quilt or an insulated pad inside. Your sleeping bag will not give you ANY insulation underneath you and you will freeze even at 60deg. Warbonnet is probably the most popular premium cottage brand and is a great company, but there are others, some systems quite heavy and some more expensive, and some very customizable for exactly what you want.

I am going to give hammock camping a go this year after decades in my trusty Eureka timberline. I am thinking of getting the mantis from Kammok. I am 6'4". No concerns on the weight capacity. Does anyone have personal experience with this hammock being a tall person? Some people recommend going for a longer hammock for tall boys like me. Thanks for your help and personal experience.

Hammock Gear, way better hammock and price is good. Made in the US not china. Do not go under 11’ in length. 10’ hammocks are for those under 6’ at the tallest.

The integrated fly on that Mantis would give me pause, though I've not used one. I use a CCS 10x14' tarp to ensure full coverage from sideways rain and snow. It's big enough to stake down the corners in a diamond shape if needed in shoulder seasons to hold more heat and really keep the precip out. Plus, with a larger tarp, it's not hard to pitch it as a tent in a jam.
You might check out the Warbonnet Eldorado as you explore options. Very impressive functionality and made for larger guys. Looks very similar (gear loft, integrated bug net, structural ridgeline). The Eldorado is an asymmetrical hammock, so you can lay very flat when it's set up (I'm a side sleeper and it's been fantastic). I've been very happy with the durability of my own, not to mention their great customer service.

Last year I got into the hammock game and with Kammock offering a great Leo/fire discount, I bought one, slept in the yard a few nights and was super happy with it. Bought a second one, my son and I went to the boundary waters with my boy. He had a moment in the dark crawled into my hammock. Pretty sure it rubbed on a rock and that sucker exploded and dumped us both out on the ground, on night 1.
Shockingly enough, I snapped a few photos at breakfast, sent them an email, they had a brand new one being shipped and a pretty genuine apology email about “ruining” our trip. Mind you I admitted fault and wasn’t upset with them, I was hoping maybe I could get a discount on buying a new one. They also told me the mantis was a better choice than the mantis UL I had. (I thought I had done enough research and was buying the right one.)
Fast forward now, I have 3 mantis and a mantis ul, 2 arctos underquilts and 6 fire bellies plus some other accessories. Been happy with the rain fly, bug netting and their customer service they have me for a customer for life.
As far as height goes, I’m 5-7 to 5-9 depending on the Taco Bell I walk out, so can’t help you there but will tell you I’m happy with their product.
