My wife and I were there 8/9-8/10 and the Angleworm trails are in great shape. I cut a few small trees that were across the trail and there were a few bigger ones but it was overall in near perfect shape.

Indeed, came out Angleworm today, what beaver dam?

I encountered 3 hiking groups, and at least one did the loop as 65+ year-old dayhikers. So I think it's fine. I did part of the hiking trail with a canoe...been on much worse 'portages' in Canada! That boardwalk is rotting - be very very careful. Someone is going to have a bad day on that.

The trail is in beautiful shape, except for some badly-needed maintenance on the bridge/boardwalk section on the shared trail/portage part near the entry. Routefinding was straightforward both clockwise and counterclockwise.

I was disappointed to find the beaver dam is a non-issue now - wide, dry, flat - whereas it had been kind of an adventure to cross the last time I did the trail. While it used to be ill advised to try crossing it without trekking poles, now it would be possible to cross it without even knowing you were crossing a beaver dam.

Awesome, that's what I like to hear. Thanks!

So I've been impressed at how clear the trails are this year given the lack of spring clearing trips, but it's still a weird year. How's the Angleworm this year? Kek and Pow Wow are both way better than I expected; how about Angleworm?
