I just finished a week hike in the Arkansas Ozarks and it was great. I've never tried so much new gear on a trip and it worked perfectly. Deonne had never slept in a hammock before and she loved it. New bottom & top quilts and I was warm to 30 degrees. Dehydrated all my food and it tasted better than expected. 2 brand new packs which had never been tried and they were very comfortable. Gravity water filter used for water for the first time.
Weather was great 50 - 60 during the day.

You must have started on Sunday. We had the same thunderstorm.

I bought two sets so we each had Hennesey hammocks, Stormcrow underquilts, and Golite top quilts.

Nice. I had a great time too on the Missouri Ozark Trail. First night there was a thunderstorm. Found a great spot right on the Current River. Next day was overcast and drippy, but the rest of the week was great. Glad to hear your trip went well.
