I was there this past spring, and will be heading back to EP #43 this coming week.
Wonderful area. Would highly suggest staying on Vernon. Fishing was great, and the portage from Swan to Vernon separates you from the majority of people passing through the area.

Anyone been thru Bower Trout Lake recently? Looking for an update on the area.
