Looking to stay in a bunkhouse the night before we go in EP16. Any recommendations on nearest outfitter with a bunkhouse? Will they also print our permit? Thanks

I’ve never been a customer, and don’t know whether or not you need to outfit with them to use their bunkhouses, but Big Lake Wilderness Lodge issues permits and is only six miles away from there.

I have used Big Lake twice in the past three years. Excellent service and prices. Rented a canoe from them and were to the entry point early with the short drive. Highly recommended. Instead of a bunkhouse he put us up in a small cabin with a refrigerator, stove, microwave and a full bathroom for bunkhouse prices. I will use them every time!
