Hoping to do a 3 day, 2 night trip in BWCA over MEA weekend. Going solo and would prefer easier portages. Any ideas most appreciated.

Gunflint Trail side.
Entry point #47 LIZZ Lake
Loop through Caribou, Horseshoe, Gaskin, Winchell, Omega, Henson, Gaskin,Horshoe, Caribou, and Lizz

I've been in twice during MEA weekend and have found the entry point lakes more crowded than August. In the same situation I think I'd try entering Little Gabbro and do the Gull Pietro Camdre Clearwater Turtle loop. Maybe a night on Gull and one on Turtle.
