I've had good luck on leeches in early sept. but maybe it isn't worth bothering with them now.

Not sure if we'll still have some or if you can get to Ely first, but we currently have about 15 pounds of leeches left. If you can come to Ely, then I'd advise calling us on the 13th to see if we have any left or if we got another delivery of a few.

Should be in the area early enough to come to ely. If so I wil call. Thanks

I've been seeing this topic but not in the last week or so. We will be getting to Grand Marais on Sunday morning 9/16. what are the chances I can find leeches? if i can't find leeches would you recommend night crawlers. WE will be fishing mostly for smallmouth and lakers in the South lake area but might try to pick up some walleye and pike on our way through Gunflint and North lakes.
