the arrowhead is expecting snow wednesday night. the conservation officer report says some smaller lakes are opening and should be ready for opener. BUT check with your outfitter or lodge for information about your specific lake or BWCA entry lakes.


clearwater is usuallyone of the last to go out. where do you plan to head from that landing?

deepwater: "I was hoping to make it to west pike..."I do not have up date info, so my apologies. My opinion is that you will be more than okay to launch Sunday on Clearwater.

Does anyone the current conditions on Clearwater Lake off of the Gunflint. I am looking for first-hand information. I want to launch there on Sunday.
