You lived/grew up in Isabella correct? If no one else responds I will put my 2 cents in, only on expeirence having lived in Isabella for 3 years. I was in Isabella a couple weeks ago, given the amount of snow last winter and the slow melt, I would predict the two rivers will be at average to slightely above average when you go on your trip. I would not expect them to be below average flow. Two and a half weeks ago I still found snow there off the Manitou Road, granted it was under a logging deck that was left abandoned along the road, due to what must have been an accident. But it was still snow and lots of it, that snow may still be there given the cool temps that area has been having. |

Wintersguy80: "I'm three weeks out still but wondering if anyone has been down the rivers lately to Bald Eagle and has some info. Is the water still high (was on the Issy upstream over memorial day) ? Portages floatable? Number of beaver dam pull overs this year(lil issy)? Any other info along that route would also be appreciated. Thanks to all that reply! happy paddling!" Just wanted to give this post a bump as some may have travelled theses water since I posted and not have seen this. 18 days and counting |
