Do not use this campsite until BWCA staff cuts two large damaged trees. Both have 6' cracks up the base and are ready to topple in a windstorm. Both are aimed at the campsite. As always, pitch your tent clear of any potentially dangerous trees.

Every year the trees falling becomes a bigger concern for me. In fact it is the only thing outside of being struck by lightning that I am concerned about.
