I was on Pine about 20 years ago, the wind was memorable to say the least.

I am going in tomorrow on a very last minute three night trip. I am wondering if anyone knows where I might find some walleye or smallmouth in the Pine, West Pike, Clearwater area. I have not even reserved a permit yet so I am wide open to suggestions. I want to be near the Border Route Trail to do some hiking.

Short looking looks like Clearwater is all reserved leaving you with only Entry Point 68 for that area. So I guess you should reserve that one like right now lol. Mcfarland to Pine then north to the Pike Lakes. I don't know where the trails are. There are Bass around the only island on Pine. Also guessing you have never been to Pine... Pine can be very windy and there is no where to hide from it as it is like a wind tunnel. So prepare for that scenario.
