Has anyone tried to use this pass when doing online reservations?
Once I did an online reservation (reservations.gov) and when I checked in at Spirit of the Wilderness outfitter, they applied the discount. I tried this last year at Piragis and they were clueless, so I abandoned the effort.

There was a place to put the number on the rec.gov site, but it was apparently just informational; I still had to present to the outfitter when picking up my permit to get the discount.
I have used it extensively at NP's for free entry.

Used a few weeks ago for entrance fees to Zion NP and it worked. Unfortunately, this early June family trip may need to be cancelled.

I've done this 3 times. Recreation.gov applied the refund to my credit card when I showed the outfitter my senior pass.
