The Forest Service added another site two years (I think) ago. The new site is located on the SW shore.

Thanks everyone for your help. Hoping a campsite will be open next week on one of the four lakes, otherwise we may need to backtrack out and go find a campsite on Burntside.

If you are entering at slim lake, there is also an excellent site on Hook if Slim is full. And a decent site on Kenue.
