Too bad. The message on recreation.gov: "Registration is closed."
Whaa? Sorta jumped the gun there, eh. Oh, not that it really matters, I guess. Just another weird quirk in a system that has occasionally demonstrated some screwy behavior.
The only thing it prevented me from doing was gathering permit usage numbers for the final 3 days of the reservation season. But, I've been harvesting numbers off and on during the past months and will still be able to put together my accumulated 2020 numbers, including a direct comparison with 2019. Sometime. Can't really say 'soon,' but this fall.
Just with an asterisk on those final 3 days...
