Map shows its northward progress. Looks like it has burned halfway to the Echo. Hopefully, it can be contained soon. |

??The Bezhik Fire has been very active this afternoon with a south wind. It has made a big push to the north towards the Moose Loop Road south of the Echo Trail on the La Croix Ranger District. ?? We have been flying water dropping aircraft on the fire all afternoon. ?? The fire is currently estimated at 1,635 acres in size. We will continue to provide updates. ??: Bezhik wildfire by Tony Harding/USDA Forest Servi< r>. br> [note: this info is about 15 hours old as of this morning, I believe] |

This may be perceived as a rather overlooked entry point, and with only one group per day allowed, but in these crazy times, the reservation system shows several weeks ahead when this one, too, is booked fairly solid. Good on ya to those fighting this thing. |
