We really liked #1056 which is where the Louse River and Malberg meet. Nice size, fire grate close to water. Cedar trees, good fishing casting across the mouth. Held our group of nine without difficulty. Nice 180 degree views.

Going into Malberg as a base camp in middle of Aug. Any tips on sites for some good fishing or extended stays? Always love walleye tips on Malberg or neighboring lakes.

Not many tips but Malberg is a really cool lake. I have used the sites on the west side and more north. One even had a small sand beach. I would love to spend more time there figuring out the best fishing spots.
