Have ben there twice, never heard or saw a motor boat. We came up from moose river and stayed on the eastern half.

I'm planning our families second BWCA adventure for this summer (mid july). Last year we paddled Seagull to Sag, via SAK and Cherry.
This year we are thinking of LLC via LIS-North, exiting at the same point except coming through Agnes/Oyster/Shell.
I'm a little weary of the motor traffic on the Canadian side of LLC. Is it pretty busy with boats?

I've been through there several times and have seen a motor boat, but never bothered me. This summer, with likelihood of no access to Quetico because of Covid, should be less.
I don't know if portage from Snow Bay to LLC using maps now - was not several years ago - but good to know about. You can avoid some of LLC if windy (but not all of it).

We were up on LLC in May 2020 and Aug 2020. Heard boats on the Canadian side a couple times each trip. Wasn’t bad at all but was during the covid limitations, obviously. Maybe worse when things open up? No idea.
Addendum:
The portage in Snow Bay to the other side of LLC is easy and short (40 rods or so). We used it both directions in Aug 2020 (round trip tow from Crane Lake that trip).

It's a big lake and you'll be on your side and they'll be on theirs if you even do see/hear one. I wouldn't be too worried
