Was just looking at some maps and possible river travel in May and June. With high water in may, would that make some rivers hard to travel in one direction?
I was looking at the north end of heritage and portage into loon. Would that be a possible on way with high water? Going in #14 mid may for the first time and looking at options. Depending on weather, I'll be solo or with the wife. She will likely wait and come along June 7. Stuart river I'm very fond of so no concerns there. Just looking for fishing loops from #14 and curious if there is a preferred direction fo travel those creeks and rivers in that area if the water is high? Thanks.

Some rivers like the Isabella might be a problem in the spring, the creek out of Heritage will not be a concern nor would the LIS heading south.

Current isn't going to be an issue in something like that. The only place it really matters much are the bigger rivers...like the Maligne in the Quetico for example.
