I would go for the fishing, the only hunting season that would be open is rabbit season. Lots of trout lakes off the Gunflint side. Good luck and have fun.

Howdy,

I've done more then a handful of trips up to the BWCA. I've attacked from Ely and Grand Marais, but I've never done a Winter Boundary Waters trip. I am in the very early planning stages but thinking taking a trip February 1st through the 7th. Any and all help is appreciated but good camping sites with solid ice fishing or small game hunting would be greatly appreciated.
