I'll be leaving in a week for Slim Lake and beyond, and I have a couple of questions. 1. I have only re-packed my pack once. Do I need to re-pack it more ? All my stuff is in there, but I feel like one re-packing is somehow wrong.
2. What is a good pint sized container for Scotch Whisky ? I am afraid that metal or plastic will leech into the Scotch and affect the taste. I'm not talking about Johnny Walker, I'm talking about a good single malt.

Yes. Definitely re-pack. Several times, at least. Then be sure to re-pack again at the bunkhouse.
A good pint size container for your scotch(or any alcohol) would be about quart size... think empty vodka bottle. Burn the empty plastic in the fire grate (upset environmentalists) or throw it off the side of the campsite (leave-no-trace geeks will freak).

I have a couple of these I bring for bourbon. They work great and I’ve never noticed any impact on taste. GSI Flask

If you know your bag is good, leave it, but if any doubts repack. If you are only looking for pint size I would go with this BPA free Nalgene. Nalgene
