I just canceled a highly sought-after May 18th Mudro permit. Keep your eyes peeled.
We're heading into the Quetico a couple of days later instead after one of the group member's plans changed unexpectedly.

Cancelled a day use motor permit for Fall Lake/Basswood for week of 5-11 and an overnight motor for Fall Lake/Basswood for 5-16.

NOTE: Permits which are cancelled are not immediately available. They will likely become available in the next 8 - 24 hours. The best way to know when the permit is actually available is to sign up for permit alerts.

I'm most likely going to have to change my entry date for Little Indian Sioux North (EP 14). Currently entering on 6/21 but looking to change it to 6/19 or 6/20. I'm scoping out entry points that are available for 6/19 and 6/20. But thought I would post it on here for a few reasons:
1) When I eventually cancel my current permit on recreation.gov, does anyone know if I get reimbursed for that to use for my new permit?
2) Is anyone else out there looking to swap entry dates and could help me out?
3) Ultimately, EP14 is going to become available for 6/21 unless I make a trade with someone. I'll post on here again once I make that change.

FYI I'll be cancelling an entry permit for Moose Lake (entry point 25) for 7/10/24. A group member's work schedule changed and I booked a different date. I'll wait until Wednesday, 2/28 to cancel so any interested forum member can be watching for it to become available.

My husband ended up having unexpected shoulder surgery two weeks ago so we can't take our planned canoe trip this summer.
