Old portage from days gone bye. Hasn't been maintained in many years. A few try to find it, mostly turns into a bushwhack with few to no little snippets of trail remaining.

Can Davis Lake be accessed from Winchell going through Pup Lake?
If you use P Planner it shows a 128-rod portage linking Winchell and Pup Lake.
Using this site this doesn't exist.
Can anyone confirm if this is accessible or is the correct route to go down through Cliff, North Cone Lakes

My paper maps don't show anything from Winchell to Pup.

I looked for this portage in 2018 when was exploring Winchell on a lay-over day. The site where it ought to begin was a real thicket and I never saw anything resembling a trail. Lots of fallen and broken trees.
Portages from North Cone or Kiskadinna. The North Cone portage sounds like the easiest choice.
