Unfortunately, as often seems to be the case, it is forecast to be cloudy tomorrow night. Perhaps you will catch a break in the clouds & they will show their glory for you to behold :). I'm hopeful though not betting on it (I'm up off of Moose Lake & would like to see them as well, it should be quite a show). Hope you have a great trip!

I just checked the NOAA forecast and it projects a KP of 8+ for 5/10 and 5/11. Also, we have a new moon. I will be starting my trip on 5/11 and am wondering what you guys think about the probability of seeing them on Friday and Saturday. I've never seen the lights and am really hoping to see them. I linked the forecast below.

My trip starts tomorrow out of EP 29. Hoping for a campsite with a northern view. I’ve seen the Northern Lights many, many times in my life, but they never get old. I’m very excited for the chance to see and hopefully photograph them from the BWCA. I hope you get to experience them!
