Every year we try to include a famously difficult or challenging portage. This year it will be Trease to Angleworm. Reports pretty much all rate it difficult and some say it is difficult to follow. Any thoughts or advice?

It's a doozy! Not hard to follow if you pay attention where the hiking trail comes in. If its wet when you go, be ready to slog about 1/4 of a mile through a bog that gets thigh deep in plenty of spots. It's hard work, and long, but I lived :)

It's only hard to follow because maps are wrong and show a route that evidently doesn't exist anymore and they underestimate the distance. If you look at the GPS track from the most recent review last year you shouldn't have any issue finding your way.
