Came out yesterday at LIS North and water was quite high. We'll see what happens for rain between now and then.

Had a few mosquitoes at dusk on Saturday. Maybe with this crazy warmth they'll be earlier than usual?

I’ve had two trips end of May/beginning of June timeframe that were both nearly free of biting insects out of my 15 trips up there, mostly in that same timeframe. 2019 and 2022. They were glorious!

Anyone have a sense yet on whether waters levels will be generally up or down and/or approximate expected bug hatches? I've got a trip coming up at the end of May and am curious whether someone is in the know. On previous trips this has varied dramatically, and I'm wondering if there's a trick to figuring it out. Thank you!
