couple of those campsites were nice before the fire, I think that changed things.

The portage into Bog Lake is close to a mile despite what the maps say. There are 3 open sites on the lake. Two were affected by the Pagami Creek Fire. The site on the west side of the lake is your best option-although it’s an average site at best. It was not affected by the fire. The two other sites offer no shade or trees to hang a pack. Walleye fishing is usually very good. Most fish are on the small side, but there are some decent ones in there. I day trip into Bog 4-5 times during the summer and I rarely see anyone.

I have not been there. But there are a couple of youtube videos from last year by Graves Up North and Jodi Middendorf that give a good idea about the portage, campsites, and fishing.

Anyone have relatively recent intel on Bog Lake? I'm going in the near future, wondering about campsite(s), portage, anything else pertinent. One map I peeked at makes it look like there is no open campsite! Thanks.
