I stayed at a placed that was convenient and at a good price. Michael Heaton is starting a school called Quetico College and in the summer he has lots of rooms available. I think my room was about $60 Canadian + tax. I had 2 meals and a room for the night with a private bath and I think the total bill including tax was about $90 Canadian. It is located just 2.3 miles north of Rt11 on Rt633 which is 6 miles west of the Dawson trail ranger station. This is very convenient for entering at Nym, Dawson trail or Sue Falls. If interested give Michael a call at 807-598-1600

It can't hurt to give Micheal a call. That's a good question. When you get your answer, please post it here for others. Thanks.

quote dentondoc: "I also stayed at Quetico College (pre-trip) in July. It is a first rate facility that, in my opinion, is unequaled on the north side of Quetico, albeit on the eastern end (near Dawson Campground/French Lake).

Is there a website?

Yes there is a web site but it is geared toward the school not as a place to stay before or after a canoe trip.
