I got a great deal on a monarch brand pack this spring. I think it was used for potato storage in the hole from Silence of the lambs for the last 15-20 years. I finally got it clean and new leather on it. I’m hoping to give it a few years in the canoe again

Wonderful, simple. repair. I got copper nails and roves to do a pack repair and now I find myself going to them for lots of other repairs and fastenings. My young nephew was totally fascinated by the idea of something other than a pop-rivet.
