I have been thinking of building a canoe for a long time, and have decided to try and pursue the construction of a cedar canvas canoe.

Does anyone know where I might be able to buy or rent a form for a prospector type canoe? I’m just trying to offset the cost and time involved in constructing a form. If I can’t find a good used one, I will either build the canoe on a one off type form, or try to go to one of the builders and take a course, using their form.

Just thought I’d ask.
