Finally got to paddle the new stripper this past weekend on Farm Lake and into the Kawishiwi. Final weight is 48lbs with pads and brass bling ;)

Fine job !!!


As a builder, I tend to notice little things. One is your strongback legs.
Not only are you wise enough to put on casters, but made adjustments to level each one ! Again Fine build !

Nice work. Glassing is a magical process. Even when you know what's going to happen it seems amazing.

Like your band saw set up, much more efficient than my table saw. My band saw is a table top model that just won't cut that long of a strip without the blade wandering.

So every year my Father and I spend some time in his wood shop during Thanksgiving. This year we have started a canoe.

We got the cedar cut and the forms also cut. We are reusing a strongback from a Grey Owl that my dad built 4 or 5 years ago. The strongback will need to be lengthened a couple feet, but should work well.
