Sure ! It would be easy to do.
One thing I don't like about inner stems, is glassing over them. I would much rather go stemless. It's just as strong.
If you like the looks of outer stems, they would be easy to put on a stemless build.

Hi,
I'm a new member here and a new builder. I'm considering building a Wee Lassie and think I would prefer stemless construction for simplicity. However the plans that I have from Feather Weight Boat building are intended for both inner and outer stems. Is there a way to adjust the stem drawings for stemless construction?

Thank you,
Bernard

It's fairly easy to do, but hard to explain to someone. You need to use a fairing strip, and cut the stem forms to match up to the outside profile of the inner stem.
The fairing strip will help you match the bevel on the stem.
