I have not heard of reduced rates for off-season, but could be. Just an FYI, I find Friends of Quetico the consistently best site for information on Quetico. They link the parks official literature, including 2017 fees, and no mention of off-season rates.
Just a plug. I'm a member of FOQ. Seems worth supporting. Newsletter and discount at stores.

Has anyone called the park office to ask the question? (807) 597-2735

quote AmarilloJim: "Is there a reduced rate for "off season use"? The posted rates at PP last week were lower than I expected."
Yes it is substantial at Prairie portage. For awhile they would have full price during the off season. But the last two years it is a nice reduced rate plus the exchange rate is more bonus.

I tried a Google search but couldn't find any info re: the reduced rates. I'm heading up for a much-too-quick trip this weekend, and if the Q rates were a little lower for me and the wife, that might make the difference between heading into the BWCA vs. going up to the Q again.
So it's $15 per night now? Nice. Hmmm....

That would be nice if they did for all year long :)

Didn't appear so in Atikokan last week - still something like $14.97.
