We were there last year. Stayed on the 5* (in our opinion) island campsite, just south of the beach campsite.

Excellent fishing opportunities all around. Great walleye fishing. We were pulling walleye and pike in from our campsite.

Southwest of Robinson Lake. Close to where the Basswood River becomes Crooked - at least I think it’s technically a bay of Crooked and not a bay off the Basswood River.

Gardner Bay is good for fishing, but I’ve only fished the Q side and usually just passing through.

Be careful Moose Bay is in the Q—-someone a few years back posted getting fined their for fishing.

I haven’t fished much of Crooked on either side, but we came out of Robinson on Tuck River last June. The rapids exiting the Tuck River into Moose Bay of Crooked produced a number of very nice smallmouth. We also saw two pairs of swans in Moose Bay which was cool to see as well.

I've fished US side, never seen anyone on Canadian side. 'Grass is always greener on the other side...", any reports? Thanks.
