On my trip there last August, it wasn't bad. Definitely narrow and brushy, but I don't remember a lot of blow downs or anything like that. Being my first time there ,I don't have anything to compare it to as far as condition, though. Fun LM lake, good for a change of pace.

Just wondering how the portage is lately. Haven’t been that way for a couple years. Has it been cleared the last few years?

Not a lot of help but when I was there in 2015 it was fine. The only issue is about halfway when you come out by a beaver dam and the creek. The portage continues about 25 yards further by going up a hill away from the creek.
